**Job Title: Finishing Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced commercial/residential finishing carpenter with 3-4 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and installing finish carpentry components in both commercial and residential settings. They will work closely with other team members and contractors to ensure that all finishing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. **Responsibilities** + Install and finish various carpentry components, including cabinets, trim, moldings, doors, and hardware. + Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine finishing carpentry requirements. + Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to precise dimensions. + Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot finishing carpentry issues. + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on carpentry elements as needed. + Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians, plumbers, and painters, to complete projects. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. + Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks. **Essential Skills** + 3-4 years of experience as a finishing carpenter in commercial and residential settings. + Strong knowledge of finishing carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. + Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in commercial construction, new construction, and trim work. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ownership of necessary tools and reliable transportation. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401k plan.
