**Job Title: Finishing Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our team, working on several larger projects in St. Croix Falls and the surrounding metro area. The majority of our projects are within the metro and west metro areas, with upcoming projects in Southern Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will have experience in stick framing and finish carpentry, and be comfortable traveling to various locations including Monticello, Hastings, Excelsior, and occasionally to the eastern side of Wisconsin. **Responsibilities** + Assist other carpenters with new construction builds. + Work on custom high-end framing and finish carpentry projects throughout the metro area. + Perform custom stick framing and install trim, casing, cabinets, windows, and doors as needed. + Collaborate with a team of carpenters to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in both interior and exterior carpentry. + Proficiency in stick framing and finish carpentry. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Skilled in rough carpentry and finishing techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have their own tools (Level, Square, cordless tools). + Valid driver's license and insurance (if converted to a full-time employee). + Ability to drive to sites up to 30 miles from residence. **Why Work Here?** Our company values long-term employee tenure, offering competitive PTO, paid holidays, and a 401k plan. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor tasks, even during winter months. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with teams ranging from 5 to 10 carpenters depending on the project. Site locations include Shorewood, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Hudson, and Hastings. **Location** Excelsior, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
