Position Overview

Finishing Utility Relief

General Statement of Duties:

Responsible for relieving on all front end coater jobs during breaks and absences and keeping cores, greige good wraps, and sew-on waste organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Relieve Console Operator, Direct Coater, Froth Machine Operator, Hyster Driver, and Sew-On Operator

during breaks or absences.

Keep core buggies, sew-on waste boxes, and greige good wrap containers available. 

Use lift truck to move core buggies, waste, and greige good wrap to proper locations.

Use pole lift truck to pull rolls for coater when needed.

*Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.

*Miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualification Requirements:

Education, Experience, Training, and Certifications/Licenses:

Experience in operating pole lift truck preferred but must obtain lift truck license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
