Fintech Product Strategy Leader - Institutional Wealth Management Services

The Role

As the Vice President, Fintech Product Strategy Leader, you will use your strategic, product management, and leadership expertise to deliver powerful digital solutions through partnerships with leading Fintech companies. Your role will be pivotal in driving outstanding customer and business value for Institutional Wealth Management Solutions (IWMS).

Your mission is to own the development and execution of technology product strategies for Fintech partnerships, including integration strategies, relationship models, commercialization plans, and success metrics. You will define, prioritize, deliver, and measure the success of Fintech initiatives, improving Fidelity’s technology experience for clients. Collaborating with Fintech Relationship Managers, you will drive integration capability adoption, capture client feedback, ensure satisfaction, and maintain competitive positioning. Additionally, you will support broader strategic decisions, refine roadmaps, and align resources to achieve mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:Vision and Strategy: Define and own the vision for Fintech partnerships, identifying key partners and integration value across client segments and business models.Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute technology product strategies for IWMS, focusing on Fintech relationships and integrations.Business Value: Measure and communicate the value of Fintech relationships and integrations for IWMS clients, focusing on solutions that meet the needs of the various business models.  Understand client needs and market opportunities to inform decision-making.Goal Setting: Implement goals and metrics that support growth, retention, and digitization.Stakeholder Engagement:  Gather feedback from key internal partners including (but not limited to):   Wealthscape Platform and Product, Segment Management, Technology Consulting, Client Experience and Client Growth.   Understand their needs, collaborate on alignment and measurement, and keep informed of progressStrategic Influence: Provide insight and feedback to technology development, product management and other key partners.Industry Awareness: Stay informed about Fintech trends and competitive analysis to guide strategy.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring Technology product management experience, preferably in Fintech / Wealthtech industry.A Series 7 license is required in this role.A data-driven approach to the marketplace, prioritization and value delivered.Strong strategic, product management, and leadership abilities.Deep understanding of the Fintech industry, client needs and market dynamics.Ability to innovate through collaboration and iterative processes.Dedication to continuous learning and development.Strong focus on execution and identifying, communicating, and removing impediments.Ability to lead, influence, and empower teams, working collaboratively across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes.

You work in partnership with product area leaders, IWMS strategy, platform services and operations, technology consulting, client experience, relationship management and other business and tech partners to drive growth, scale and deepen relationships.
