We have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm\nEngineer to join us at Honeywell, in the South West and Wales region, where you\nwill be responsible for routine maintenance and fault finding on customer sites,\nidentifying and actioning any additional maintenance and small works sales\nopportunities, and commission small projects and new systems with the wider\nteam. This is a field-based role covering our clients\nacross the South West and occasionally South Wales.

Key responsibilities
Attending customer sites to install or repair fire detection and response systemsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire detection and response systems, both remotely and on-siteProvide technical expertise and support for fire protection solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needsBe a mentor for junior engineers training them in system usage including producing documentation and quotation productionKey skills and qualifications
Previous experience of commissioning and servicing of fire systems preferably GENT systemsUnderstanding of, and/or previously certified training in, BS5839 maintenance, installation, and designAbility to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunitiesGood communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsOur offer
