Assist in the testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems. Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programing of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and operational/product manuals. Execute all work in accordance with local and national codes, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures. Skills and Requirements Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience Minimum Experience: 3-5 years as a fire alarm service technician with experience in programming EST 3 or EST 4 (Edwards) fire alarm systems or similar complexity. Preferred Experience: (but not required): 2 years of hands-on experience in the commercial/ industrial/ low voltage/ electrical industry.
