Our client, a leader in fire safety solutions, is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Inspector 1 to join their team. As a Fire Alarm Systems Inspector 1, you will be part of the inspection team supporting the greater Sacramento area. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Fire Alarm Systems Inspector 1 **Location:** Rancho Cordova, CA **Pay Range:** $19.68 - $25.00 per hour **What's the Job?** + Provide inspection, testing, and service for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards and local codes. + Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations and generate reports using Siemens tools. + Discuss noted deficiencies and remedies with customers, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on corrective actions. + Maintain structured inspection schedules and ensure accurate documentation of all tests performed. + Perform minor service and deficiency repairs on various fire alarm systems and provide training to customer personnel. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred. + Experience as a service technician is required or preferred. + Ability to differentiate types/colors of wire and use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet. + Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted. + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with good verbal and written communication skills in English. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity for temporary to permanent employment with potential for career growth. + Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and compliance. + Gain valuable experience in fire alarm systems and inspection processes. + Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence in service. + Receive training and support to obtain NICET Fire Alarm Inspector Certification Level 2.
