Fire Extinguisher Operations Manager

Job Summary

This position is responsible for working with service team members to get inspections and deficiencies scheduled. Work with field technicians to provide the industry’s best service. Work with coordinator to ensure technicians are properly trained, educated, and licensed. Advance Shambaugh’s CO2 market share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interact daily with Fire Extinguisher Coordinator, Sale Team, and Field Technicians Maintain good relations with existing customers Assist sales team in acquiring new business opportunities Practice high attention to detail and accuracy of processing and applying scheduling techniques Assist coordinator in estimating deficiencies for fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, kitchen hood inspections, and suppression systems Work with Service Shop Supervisor to ensure proper inventory Maintenance of Fire Extinguisher Equipment Maintain familiarity of applicable NFPA codes and AHJ requirements Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Finance and/or Business or equivalent work experience preferred Experience with AS400 a plus Must be a self-starter and able to work with diverse group of construction personnel Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel Proven experience in multi-tasking and doing several difficult tasks at once – incoming calls, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc. Industry knowledge of equipment, inspection practices, and remediating solutions Must be organized, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic Professionalism in email and over the phone Motivated to achieve a high standard of productivity Believe that customer service is first priority Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
