The Role
As a mobile Portable Fire Technician, you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests across multiple key contracts for BGIS. You will maintain Portable Fire Equipment such as Extinguishes, Hose Reels, Blankets etc.
This role is based in Richmond, NSW.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire systems and equipment (Extinguishers, Blankets, Hoses)
- Installation of Portable Fire systems and equipment
- Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
- Maintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS1851-2012
Skills & Experience
- White card
- Driver's License
- FPAS accreditation (desired, not necessary)
- Strong experience and understanding of AS1851 and AS2118
