Fire Protection Engineer
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a licensed Fire Protection Engineer. The average day to day is primarily (50-60%) in production utilizing Revit and some CAD. Responsibilities also include mentoring EIT's, administrative management, quality assurance, project meetings and business development. Projects are typically Federal / Department of Defense (DoD) with some public and private work as well. The sizes of the projects are also varied, with small, medium, and large projects all being a part of the portfolio. Initially, business development will be minimal but will grow to 5-10% over time. Travel, up to 25% of the time, includes international and domestic destinations for observations, charettes, and meetings. This role would be joining a team of six in a mid-sized full-service A/E company. It sits hybrid with 3 onsite days in Virginia Beach, VA.
