Job Posting: Environmental Cleanup Technician (Los Angeles Fires)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking multiple technicians to join our team to inspect, troubleshoot, and remediate areas affected by the Los Angeles fires.

Must Haves:

1+ year of experience in environmental or construction clean-up OR construction/restoration background

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with chemical products, including use, disposal, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)Experience with fire damage restorationOSHA certification

Responsibilities:

Perform fire damage and environmental cleanup as directed by a Project Manager, including debris removal, air quality monitoring, and site decontamination.Deploy commercial-grade equipment (e.g., air scrubbers and dehumidifiers) and conduct ongoing monitoring until the site is safe.Ensure proper cleaning, decontamination, and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and products.Complete paperwork and other documents as required by company policies and procedures after successful customer interactions.

Debris removal and site cleanupAir quality monitoring and improvementMoving and resetting contentsSetting up and maintaining equipment

Additional Activities:

Constructing temporary enclosuresRemoving and disposing of hazardous materialsMaintaining equipment

Other Requirements:

Frequent lifting of over 50 lbsSustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with emergency response situations involving fire and smoke damage in a commercial setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
