Fire Safety Lead (KL) Job ID 201343 Posted 20-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Health and Safety/Environment Location(s) Kuala Lumpur - Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia **Work Location: Kuala Lumpur** **About the Role:** As a CBRE Fire Safety Lead, you will be in charge of planning and coordinating the fire safety operations for small to medium-sized property. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. **What You’ll Do:** + Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence stakeholders, and to ensure compliance. + Enforce all fire prevention, safety, and security policies and procedures. Remain up to date on pre-fire plans + Review and implement the organization’s fire prevention, safety, and security policies and procedures. + Meet regularly with property managers to discuss events, escalated incidents, and serious concerns. + Review equipment tests to verify they work in an effective and efficient manner. Escalate any concerns or issues to management. + Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures. + Support Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives program. + Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements. + Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques. + Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team. + Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Additional certifications as required by the local authority. + A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. + Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
