Fire & Safety Technician

Overview:
Responsibilities:Assists with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment and FX training.Partners with departments to assist with creating solutions to safety concerns; processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.Responds to and assists with park emergencies; assists First Aid staff as needed; operates emergency vehicles.Performs follow-up inspections for corrective action and reports continued safety issues primarily to Associates one to two levels above.Performs routine fire and safety inspections; conducts investigations on necessary first aid incidents as requested by the first aid RN.
Qualifications:Driver's License, Ohio EMT Certification, Ohio Volunteer Fire Certification.Ability to drive, or learn to drive, a vehicle with a manual transmission.Ability to demonstrate familiarity with using OSHA, OBBC, and Ohio Fire code regulatory manuals and proficiency in Microsoft OfficePeople who interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups.Individuals who work well within a team with a commitment to safety.Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
$18.25 / hour
