Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager

Job Summary: Dalmation Fire Protection is seeking a designer for Fire Protection Systems for all types of projects including Industrial, Commercial and Residential. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems  Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications Write, plan, coordinate, and make presentations to individuals and groups  Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis  Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and AutoSPRINK Responsible for BIM modeling and field surveying  Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associate or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include: Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees 5+ years of Fire Protection design experience required  NICET certification preferred AutoCad experience and/or Hydratec Experience required Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills Only applicants who possess the minimum qualifications will be considered Candidates must successfully complete employment background check.

All travel and Company expenses associated with your position will be reimbursed with the use of Company expense reports. Employer may test prospective employees for the presence of drugs, but must first inform prospective employees that they must undergo testing. Should the prospective employee refuse to provide a sample, or should the sample test positive, the employer may reuse to hire the prospective employee.
