We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Mechanic to join our team. The role involves the installation and fitting of fire sprinkler systems, including threading and grooving pipe, installing sprinkler heads, and reading blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience with plumbing and fire protection systems.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and fit fire sprinkler systems.Thread and groove pipes using a 300 machine.Install sprinkler pipes, fire sprinkler lines, main lines, and sprinkler heads.Read and interpret sprinkler blueprints.Perform soldering and inspection of fire sprinkler systems.Ensure compliance with fire protection standards.Maintain accurate records of installations and inspections.Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.Essential SkillsExperience in fire sprinkler fitting and installation.Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems.Ability to thread and groove pipes.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience with fire suppression systems.Ability to work with sprinkler pipe installations.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30 certification.SST 10 certification.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Ability to work in a high-paced production environment.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Must have own tools, PPE, and measurement tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and requires strict adherence to attendance and productivity standards. You must be open to working in various locations including Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, accessible by car or public transportation. A team player attitude is essential, and you must be able to take feedback well and maintain a high standard of workmanship. No air pods or phones are allowed during work hours. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
