**Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Technician** **Description** + Performing onsite troubleshooting and repairs of fire sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues + Ability to interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing + Willing to become or currently NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems. + Performing Fire Pump Flow Tests preferred, but not required. + Preparing accurate, detailed and timely service tickets and reports + Effectively communicates to explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary. **Skills** + Fire sprinkler + Pipe fitting + Fitting + Sprinkler + Backflow **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 and OSHA are preferred + 1-3+ years in fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action) + Ability to read blue prints + High School/Vocational training is a plus + Working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems. + Some understanding of all NFPA and local codes that apply (NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24). + Understanding of all fire codes and an ability to discern deficiencies in the system(s) being serviced. **Experience Level** + Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
