Fireman & Coverage Mechanic
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** Come join the Engineering team at Mt. Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities. **Position Purpose:** Primary relief person for Maintenance Mechanic and Fireman positions. Position performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the Hospital complex in an effort to maintain Plant Operations 24/7. **What you will do:** + Repairs or reports problems with machinery, systems and mechanical equipment, heating, ventilation equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, Building Management Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems. + Professionally and safely operates the boilers, compressors, which provides for utilities such as light, heat and power. Position must be able to make timely decisions acting as Off Shift Supervisor for the Director of Engineering and the Manager of Engineering Services. **Minimum Qualifications** **:** + Education: High School diploma, must be able to read and write the English language + Experience: 2 years' experience in the operating and repair of high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment. + 3 years' experience in basic repair and maintenance to Hospital facilities and equipment. + Licensure: OE-2.
