Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Firewall Engineer to join their growing team. They have built an Internal tool to lock down the firewalls put in a rule through the firewall monitor the traffic through that rule and then capture the logs, do some stuff in SQL on their SQL server and then see the traffic and evaluate the communications/traffic and work with IRSM (information security risk management) (Ex: we see this application communicating here is this correct traffic) if the answer is yes they create an application specific firewall rule for that. If its no they leave it outside the rule set and once lockdown happens they will get denied that way. He/she will be responsible for analyzing those firewall logs and look at communications on the firewall. The day of the lockdown the business performs UAT testing if somethings not working with the app need to be able to understand what port was missed.
