Job Title: Firmware Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a firmware engineer to support work in the defense and aerospace industry. The firmware/digital engineer will design and develop custom high-speed digital signal-processing cards and firmware for next-generation precision tracking radars and radar cross-section (RCS) measurement systems. Responsibilities include capturing design requirements, designing and developing digital subsystems, performing VHDL/Verilog firmware development, working with embedded software engineers to develop architectures, performing hardware-in-the-loop testing, and generating product documentation (Interface Control Documents, theory of operation, etc.).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hilliard, Ohio.

Work Environment

You will have a private workspace and will spend 50% of your time at a desk and 50% in the lab/floor with the freedom to pursue your own tasks. Physical agility is required to support hands-on work with large indoor and outdoor radar systems, and you must be able to lift, carry, and mount electronics equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. into chassis or structures. The position requires working in the office from Monday to Friday with core hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and flexible hours outside of that as long as you complete an 8-hour workday. No relocation assistance is offered.
