Firmware Engineer - Woburn, MA - Hybrid
We are hiring a Firmware Engineer to implement complex system algorithms and interfaces in FPGAs for Radar and Electronic Warfare systems. The division you would be working in is focused on delivering National Defense capabilities by driving mission-focused strategies to develop advanced technology systems enabling enduring products and solutions focused on achieving the customer vision. This position does allow for hybrid flexibility but candidates must be local to come onsite as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Under guidance from tenured staff, implement algorithms and interfaces in FPGAsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications as they relate to assigned taskingCreating and maintaining design documentation and test plansNear term tasking may be related to RF systems for airborne applications, but you may be tasked on other applications as neededSkills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience; Master’s degree is a plus. Equivalent experience will be consideredMUST be eligible to obtain a DOD ClearanceExperience with C/C++, Python and/or MATLABExperience with FPGA and SoC design entry using Verilog or VHDLApplicable knowledge of design flow for Xilinx and/or Intel FPGAsApplicable knowledge of simulation tools such as ModelSim/Questa, VCS, or IncisiveExperience in delivery of advanced development hardware.Capable of effectively working in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.Experience in providing information for briefings and technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)Nice to have:
Active Secret or Top Secret security clearanceDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, physics modeling and simulationPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $128000.00
