JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded systems.Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues and optimize performance.Implement communication protocols and interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement firmware requirements.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.Strong understanding of microcontrollers, processors, and hardware interfaces.Experience with debugging tools and techniques.Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Knowledge of signal processing and control systems.Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
