**POSITION OVERVIEW** This position is on the embedded software team to assist the engineers with testing, including wireless and firmware/hardware integration. This person will work in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, debuggers, code reviews, and sensors. ISC has many projects ongoing, and this person will focus on firmware – debugging, integration and testing. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES** + Project Biggie Smalls – testing modules and FW/HW integration testing + Participate in Code Reviews on all projects + AoS – assistance with choosing components and updating existing firmware to work with new parts + Writing reports for the detailed analysis and testing + Work with engineers to develop new modules and new functions for instruments + Run experiments using new and/or existing hardware to demonstrate use cases **REQUIREMENTS** + Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering- graduating December 2025 or later. + Good analytical skills for performing and evaluating tests + Understanding of ‘C’ code – able to read/write code in C programming language + Good communication skills – written reports and express ideas verbally + Can complete tasks with guidance from an engineer **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
