Job Summary:
The First Mate is expected to provide interpretative information to guests regarding Grand Teton National Park during boat cruises. Assist the Captain in all normal cruise boat operations and maintenance functions. Maintain complete working knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures. Maintain and clean cruise boats on a daily/weekly basis. Act as a backup cruise boat operator in case of incapacitation of Captain. Perform other duties as assigned by Cruise boat captain. You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety.

The “must haves” for this position include:
Knowledge of marinas and general boating Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications that are less than a year old Comfort with public speaking Ability to give engaging and entertaining presentations Able to work long hours and variable shifts
We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:
Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park Interpretive Guide Experience

The expected pay range is $18.25. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
