First Notice of Loss Associate

NJM Insurance Group currently has an opening in our Contact Center for a First Notice of Loss Associate where you will play an important role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with us by responding to their inbound calls. Formal in-house training is provided. This is a hybrid position which requires time in the office as well as at home. Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:45am-7pm) and 1 Saturday a month (8:30am-4:30p) Salary: Salary begins at $43,886....(Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials) Responsibilities + Will serve as first contact for our customers who are reporting claims. This includes handling incoming calls and accurately processing information into the system for assignment to an adjuster. + Provide exceptional customer service to customers who have experienced and auto or property loss + Determine appropriate coverage and complete necessary follow-ups in a timely manner + Efficiently navigate systems to access appropriate information to service callers + Perform additional duties within the department, as needed Requirements + Contact Center experience handling inbound calls is a plus + Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to demonstrate empathy to customers during what may be a stressful time + Excellent listening skills + Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously + Accurate keyboarding skills + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus + High school diploma or GED Legal Disclaimer: NJM is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
