The Role and Responsibilities: This role requires extensive flying experience and the ability to safely and efficiently lead a flight crew in Global operations. As a Netflix First Officer in the Praetor 600, you would be expected to embrace our culture, which places a strong emphasis on operating with independence and a lot of self-motivation. The right person would also be an expert in demonstrating the independent judgment, discretion and outstanding customer service skills necessary to provide a seamless experience for our passengers. You will have the ability to be an informed captain in making tough decisions independently, while also considering the impact it has on your team. Qualifications: + Preferred: Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate with multi-engine rating and at least one type rating in a business jet aircraft + Ensure thorough pre-flight planning and associated activities in compliance with applicable government regulations. This includes analysis of weather, aircraft performance criteria, and runways, as well as planning for all phases of flight with review of aircraft maintenance and flight readiness status + Comply with domestic/international laws and regulations, company-specific policies, and aviation standard operating procedures + Maintain a high level of operational and systems knowledge of assigned aircraft, familiarity of regional operational and airspace requirements for assigned flights, and a thorough understanding of navigational requirements, reporting requirements and limitations for destinations and alternates + Assist in completing necessary flight documentation and reports in compliance with department procedures, including aircraft defects and discrepancies + Ensure the security of aircraft when away from home base and assist/coordinate with passenger security needs as required + Maintain international travel readiness including proper personal documentation and immunization status + Develop relationships, exchange feedback on product/service issues, identify and solve problems, and assess needs to achieve business results + Maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment + Preferred - Qualified as a Pilot-in-Command with: 1500 hours total flying time; 500 hours multi-engine turbine aircraft as Pilot-In-Command; International/Oceanic experience; FAA First Class Medical Certificate + Preferred - Four year college degree Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000- $390,000. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
