The Fiscal and Quality Supervisor will supervise and direct the staff responsible for the fiscal policy and quality assurance activities related to Minnesota’s home and community-based services (HCBS) programs for older adults. These programs include: + Alternative Care (AC) + Elderly Waiver (EW) + Essential Community Supports (ECS) + MnCHOICES This team is also responsible for oversight and implementation of the state’s Assisted Living Report Card. Responsibilities include: + Assure the compliance and accountability of these programs and policies to the federal and state authorities under which they operate + Provides supervision and manages work responsibilities of assigned program staff to assure effective and efficient workflow and outcomes consistent with division and unit goals **Minimum Qualifications** Demonstrated leadership experience* *Leadership experience can include: + Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead; + Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4); + A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include: + 1 year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions + 100+ hours per year time commitment. AND 4 years of specialized professional work experience in developing and/or administering policies and/or programs relating to home and community-based services for older adults. Experience must demonstrate the following: + Public policy analysis and development sufficient to develop and coordinate policy and programs to improve outcomes + In depth knowledge of Minnesota Health Care Programs and publicly-funded home and community-based services for older adults + Knowledge of legislative processes, administrative budget, and governance processes + Quality management and quality improvement strategies **Preferred Qualifications** + Understand, develop, persuade, motivate, collaborate, and lead others + Effectively use Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint and project management software + Organize and prioritize resources and responsibilities + Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
