Our client, a leader in environmental studies, is seeking a Fiscal/Budget Assistant to join their team. As a Fiscal/Budget Assistant, you will be part of the Environmental Studies Department supporting various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Fiscal/Budget Assistant-Grants
**Location:** New York, NY (Onsite)
**Pay Range:** $35-40/hr
**Duration:** 3 months + extensions
**What's the Job?**
+ Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
+ Track and manage budgets effectively to ensure compliance.
+ Reconcile expenses with grant accounts to maintain financial integrity.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
+ Collaborate with team members to support grant-related activities.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience working with grants and understanding post-award activities.
+ Familiarity with budget and fiscal management principles.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
