Fiscal Clerk (4550)

Bennett Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, has an opening for a highly motivated Fiscal Clerk in support of a Federal Law Enforcement client located in Seattle, Washington.  

Position Responsibilities:

The Fiscal Clerk will perform a wide range of fiscal and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.  The Fiscal Clerk will perform data entry, maintain department database systems, prepare physical files, and create physical reports for management. They will cross reference data to ensure validity and accuracy in preparation of reports.  Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance as is the ability to work both with minimal direction and within a team environment. Perform routine account clerical operations such as: examining, verifying, and correcting accounting transactions to insure completeness and accuracy of data and proper identification of accounts, and checking expenditures will not exceed obligations in specified accounts. Totaling, balancing, and reconciling collection vouchers. Posting data to transaction sheets where employee identifies proper accounts and items to be posted. Coding documents in accordance with a chart (listing) of accounts. Employee follows specific and detailed accounting procedures. Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience ensuring accuracy of all obligations and expenditures. Completed work is reviewed for accuracy and compliance with procedures. Handle requests for information and data; resolve administrative problems and inquiries. Balance and reconcile invoices and documents to ensure funds have been obligated and completed within specified timelines. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system; scan documents into digital financial systems. Review status, format and process reports for the department. Perform data entry of databases and files; maintain database records by ensuring the information is up to date and accurate. Prepare and maintain electronic and physical files. Review reports and verify information; verify files and tracking systems; perform data entry and reconcile any inconsistencies that may appear in databases. Utilize government database systems, word processing software, fiscal software, spreadsheet software and presentation software. Perform other related and assigned fiscal and/or administrative duties. 

Position Requirements:

US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Designation and be drug-free. Bachelor's degree. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
