Pay $20.79 - $25.00 per hour

The Fiscal Manager plays a key role in the Finance Department of Upstate Caring Partners. The Fiscal Manager performs a full range of accounting duties related to fiscal management and analysis, assists in establishing and implementing fiscal policies and procedures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, as well as assisting with the month end close of the Agency.

 

Core Responsibilities

Assist with the month end close process, including reconciling agency General Ledger accounts. Assist with employee benefit related accounts and analysis. Assist in overseeing and maintaining agency programs (i.e. billing, reporting, account analysis, etc.). Oversee and monitor of billing and data gathering function for various billings. Monitor cash flow and cash management and investment functions. Assist with other Departmental initiatives including writing and testing policies and procedures, internal audit test work, and others as deemed necessary. This position may be needed to assist the Assistant Finance Director with Representative Payee functions, as deemed necessary. Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing on accounting issues with individuals with varying degrees of accounting familiarity. Organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines working within prescribed time constraints. Maintain positive relationships with consumers, families, community organizations, referral sources and governing/regulatory agencies. Participate in department management meetings and team goals.

 

Qualifications

A.A.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field. 3-5 years of related experience in Finance or Accounting or related field. Valid NYS Drivers License
