Benefits Include: + Healthcare Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Disability Insurance: Both short-term and long-term options + Life Insurance: Including Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) + Financial Planning: Flexible Spending Accounts for both medical and dependent care + Support Programs: Access to our Employee Assistance Program + Paid Time Off: Enjoy 11 paid holidays, along with generous vacation and sick leave + Recognition and Appreciation: Through our employee appreciation and peer recognition programs + Professional Development: Take advantage of numerous employee development opportunities Duties and Responsibilities + Performs accounts payable and accounts receivable functions; maintains financial records and reconciles internal spreadsheets; performs daily cash counting and reconciliation; handles in-person cashier transactions. + Administers the procurement card program, ensures compliance of policies and procedures, trains and provides direct support to cardholders; acts as a liaison to the bank. + Processes account payable including all employee reimbursements and contracted invoices; follows administrative codes, quotes, and statutes. + Processes invoices for payment; processes purchase orders and invoices with all pertinent codes, values, and account numbers. + Maintains databases and generates/prepares statistical reports. + Evaluate work order requests and enter work orders in the system or email appropriate contacts. + Processes deposits and maintains petty cash and change fund; performs cash balancing duties; processes journal entries; processes daily ACH transmittals of web/phone payments. + Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, Licensing + Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one year of college in accounting or closely related field and two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or closely related experience. + Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Supplemental Information + Preferred experience in JD Edwards E1, OnBase software, and Microsoft Office Applications. + Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Exhibits outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, county staff, vendors, and the public. + Works proactively and independently, with a keen ability to problem solve and take initiative. + Maintains exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. + Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently. The work hours and days for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
