Pennock Hospital Health and Wellness Center strives to bring a comfortable and energetic atmosphere for the community to improve their health. Members can enjoy group exercise classes in the studio or pool, cardiovascular and weight equipment, free weight area, hot tub, locker rooms, and health education classes.
Scope of work
The associate fitness center coordinator is responsible for providing wellness/fitness center members, prospective members and visitors with a warm greeting, accurate product and service information and a timely, personal response to requests and/or customer service issues. Tasks at the welcome center include but are not limited to member check-in, series sales, point of sale, locker rental and class registration. This team member will be responsible for regular rounding through the locker room areas to ensure appropriate presentation and amenities are stocked. Completes laundering duties, folding and restocking towel supplies in all designated facility locations. Tours prospective members and offers membership enrollment. Ensures new member communication and takes accountability for ensuring accuracy of data for members, guest and prospects. Conduct regular facility rounding to ensure the facility is safe, clean and presentable. Replenish products and supplies as necessary. Appropriately observe all areas of the facility and act when and where problems arise; including but not limited to member needs, equipment monitoring/preventative maintenance/questions/issues, program or service needs, and facility presentation. Reports rounding concerns to the appropriate party. Consistently provides outstanding customer service in fitness floor, locker rooms and over-all facility presentation and supports membership enrollment as appropriate.

Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days
