Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting employees with the usage of the Fitness Center while providing superior customer service.    

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Checks employees and Tribal Members into the Fitness CenterProcesses Fitness Center enrollments/cancellationsAssists members with exercise equipment and enforces company policies pertaining to the proper usage of the Fitness CenterWashes, folds and hands out towelsMaintains and ensures the cleanliness of the exercise areas and locker rooms

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the Fitness Center Shift Manager with wellness and intramural sports programsSells beverages, movie tickets and miscellaneous event tickets to employees

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentOne year of general office experiencePrevious customer service experienceBasic computer skills

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

               

Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-taskKnowledge of the various types of exercise equipment

Training Requirements:

Personal Trainer CertificationCPR Certified

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to assist employees with the proper use of exercise equipmentMust be able to lift up to 45 lbs.Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
