Purpose:
The Fitness Coordinator at Lakeview Terrace purpose is to improve residents' health and well-being through fitness, wellness education, and special activities. It focuses on creating safe, engaging programs and maintaining facilities, while working with staff to ensure effectiveness and promote overall quality of life.
Essential Duties:
1. Develop and implement the Living Well brand and program for Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community.
2. Design and deliver aquatic and land-based exercise programs, focusing on wellness and fitness.
3. Create and provide wellness-related continued education and training for residents.
4. Work closely with Therapy, Activity, Dietary and Nursing staff to implement new programs.
Required Qualification:
Degree in wellness/exercise
Certified personal trainer/group exercise
Certified Pool Operator (within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
Biomechanics
Customer service
Salary/Hourly Rate: Negotiable
