Location: Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living Situated on 120 beautiful acres in Silver Spring, Maryland, Riderwood is the largest continuing care retirement community in the United States. We are hiring a Fitness Specialist who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team! Put your passion for fitness to work in meaningful ways in a non-traditional setting. The Fitness Specialist is responsible for promoting wellness throughout the community, working with seniors individually and leading group exercise classes. **How you will make an impact:** + Assisting Fitness Coordinators in monitoring the daily operations of the 4 onsite Fitness Centers + Leading 1-1 personal training as well as group exercise and specialty classes + Assisting with the promotion, coordination, and implementation of exercise programs and campus wide events + Building relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity and overall wellness. **What we offer:** + Compensation: Starting at $22.00 per hour + Gated community with 24/7 security. + Competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, and PTO + 401k for all employees 18 and over. Experience may be substituted if Bachelor's degree is in a related field. + Certification through a national organization (ACSM, ACE, NASM) preferred. + Current CPR/First Aid certification.
