Location: Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living We are hiring a Fitness Specialist to join our team. Company contribution up to 3% once eligible. + Education assistance, certification reimbursement, and student loan refinancing partnership programs are available. + Onsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all employees over 18 years of age. + A "career for life" approach to professional and personal development for our greatest asset; our employees. + Free onsite parking at all of our communities and corporate offices + A culture of diversity and inclusion, which builds on our values, vision, and mission. **How you will make an impact:** + Instructing fitness classes for senior population with varying abilities. + Performing fitness orientations for residents. + Provide one on one personal training sessions, motivation, and consulting. + Promoting and assisting in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and physical independence for older adult population. + Maintaining a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for residents throughout the three fitness centers and aquatics center. + Assisting with coordination and implementation of wellness/fitness programming. + Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training with the ability to work with high risk population. + Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations. + Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active. **What you will need:** + Current CPR/First Aid certifications. + Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus. + Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
