What you'll do as: Fitter
- Read and understand blueprints
- Operate overhead cranes
- Use grinders and hand torches
- Weld components in various positions
- Examine workpieces for defects
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might:
- Prior welding experience
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Experience with gas metal arc welding
- Ability to operate welding equipment
- Experience with structural steel fitting
