We are seeking a skilled Poultry Fitter to join our team in the North West. The Poultry Fitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of poultry equipment at our facilities. This position requires knowledge of poultry farming practices and experience working with poultry equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Install, maintain, and repair poultry equipment such as feeders, drinkers, ventilation systems, and egg collection systems
– Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues
– Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities
– Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in poultry farming or a related field
– Knowledge of poultry equipment and maintenance practices
– Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
