Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

Structural welding with a variety of wire sizes, primarily .052 flux core. Welding 1/2 inch+ steel in a variety of positions 1-3G on mild steel. Aiding in pre-fab operations as needed. Full layout and fitting of structural assemblies according to blueprints and welding symbols, verifying layout with quality checks and working with welding team to complete sections of jobs. Owning all aspects of jobs, including the layout/fitting, welding, and quality throughout project completion.

Qualifications:

Welders must pass a 1/2 inch plate test with .052 in 3g.Fitters must pass 1/2 inch plate test with .052 in 1g, must be able to walk through a drawing and lay out.Leads must pass 1/2 inch plate test with .052 in 1g, must be able to walk through a drawing and lay out.

Environment/ Shift:

Shop does structural projects but also supports national operations for structural conveying systems used in mining. The majority of projects done out of this shop will be supporting structural/architectural/construction projects.Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm. Swing Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
