Fixed Asset Associate
FIXED ASSETS ASSOCIATE
Summary of Position
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a large volume fixed asset transactions (i.e. additions, disposals, transfers and adjustments) into the Lawson Asset Management system.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Process fixed asset transactions in the Asset Management System in Lawson utilizing a variety of methods.
· Maintain control and organization of a large quantity of electronic invoices.
· Prepare construction templates (used as an aid when keying construction assets).                                     · Maintain Fixed Assets Mailbox.
· Ensure proper retention of fixed asset invoices.
· Run various asset reports from Lawson and export to Microsoft Excel (csv & pdf).
· Assist with various monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
· Assist by researching and resolving outstanding general ledger balances in the Construction in Progress account.
· Assist with other ad hoc projects as necessary.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
 
· Good oral & written communication skills
· Able to work in a team environment and independently
· Excellent problem resolution skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills


Desired Qualifications
· Proficiency with queries (Showcase, Lawson Add-Ins, IBM) and in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Experience in processing fixed assets.
