Income and Wealth Solutions addresses complex wealth management needs of clients through our Wealth Strategies, Fixed Income and Annuity teams.  

Fixed Income Specialists, within Income and Wealth Solutions, build relationships with clients and key partners, focusing their efforts on education, advice, and sales. Typical client needs in the fixed income markets can range from basic information and trade execution to highly complex portfolio analysis with high-net-worth clients and organizations. The Fixed Income Specialists identifies and understands client goals and objectives and recommends appropriate investment vehicles to meet the client's income needs, including portfolio and asset allocation. Specialists work closely with field partners to develop and assist with sales strategy, call campaigns and workshop delivery. The Fixed Income Specialist utilizes multiple sources to uncover and convert sales opportunities. There is typically 25% travel in this role, although frequency may vary depending on market conditions and strategic priorities. In addition, specialists will answer general account inquiries while maintaining a deep understanding of advised products offered by the company.

What you are good at

This position is a relationship-based sales role in which the employee will be responsible for production targets. This role requires a high level of engagement with clients, peers and partners. The employee should have deep understanding of fixed income markets, income strategies and general portfolio analysis. This should include but is not limited to treasuries, municipal and corporate bonds, separately managed accounts, fixed income mutual funds and ETFs.

What you have
A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license requiredA valid and active FINRA Series 66 or 63/65 license required (or could be obtained after a 90 day Condition of Employment)3+ years of sales experience in financial services requiredCFA, CFP, or MBA preferredAbility to build relationships, collaborate with partners and consistently produce resultsStrong organizational & time management skillsIn depth knowledge of Fixed Income ProductsAbility to effectively use Microsoft Office, FactSet and BloombergBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
