Job Description Summary

Commercial Legal Counsel (Fixed-Term Contract)

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to provide legal support across multiple service lines, including Asset Services, Occupier Services, Integrated Facilities Management, Project & Development Services, Brokerage & Capital Markets, Consultancy, and Valuation & Advisory. This role will support the Associate General Counsel, EMEA, and the wider legal team, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including M&A and corporate transactions.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal guidance on commercial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing risk.Prepare responses to RFPs and negotiate, draft, and finalise commercial contracts for various services.Draft and negotiate supply contracts, including licensing, consulting, and service agreements.Collaborate with global legal teams and external counsel on international agreements.Manage and resolve legal disputes, working with insurers and external counsel as needed.Oversee governance and internal controls related to contract approvals and execution.Deliver legal training and develop a precedent database.Support and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree-qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE (less may be considered).Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory experience.Experience in handling legal disputes.Commercial acumen and ability to provide legal advice in a fast-paced environment.Experience in construction and/or real estate is desirable but not essential.
