This company is looking for a _Flavor Technician_ to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry. **Schedule** : Monday-Friday 8-5p **Pay** : $24/hr **Type** : Contract to hire _Follow established procedures and guidelines to prepare flavor samples and take part in flavor evaluations and testing, in order to support effective creation and processes, according to business goals and EH&S policies._ **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology + Minimum 0-2 years of experience in a food applications lab, production or related area **Responsibilities:** + Prepare flavors as requested for customer briefs, applications needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, physical testing, etc. + Prepare flavors using parr reactors, kettles, high shear mixers, blenders and other applicable equipment and instruments. + Act as the main point of contact to provide timely flavor samples for other labs and functions + Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in company database software (Athena, Atlas, Lot Number records, etc.) + Maintain organized and updated stock of raw materials, ingredients, lab, and office supplies in the shared workspace + Maintain organized collection of flavors in the lab for immediate response to briefs and applications requests + Participate in the evaluation of flavors in food products and provide feedback on flavor performance _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
