MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

                       

Create new flavours for various applications independently Develop and enhance good working relationships within R&D and with Sales, Marketing, QA, Procurement, SC&OP and all other department involved in a project, to develop products and share knowledge Develop strong Customer relationships on a technical-to-technical basis Visit selected Key accounts, to better understand technical requirements of their business, discuss opportunities and conduct demonstrations & presentations Supervise both exempt and non-exempt employees

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

 

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry (or similar scientific discipline) or equivalent experience At least 10 years experience in flavour creation. Ability to perform well under time and budget pressure Excellent communication skills with diplomacy and negotiation capabilities Self-motivated, with the ability to work well with others Team building attitude, can take calculated risks Excellent attitude to manage medium- and long-term projects Commercially aware Project management skills Demonstrate technical expertise and developing credibility and reputation Build a strong internal network of relationships Excellent tasting skills and ability to consistently describe the flavour profile of products Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) Knowledge of Italian and European customers, their products and processes Willingness to travel with a monthly frequency and according to business needs Work independently with customers
