About the role
The Savoury Flavourist will independently lead projects, developing flavours in line with business strategy and in response to customer briefs. The role requires to utilize Kerry technology to deliver unique solutions and the ability to work with cross functional teams to optimize the strengths of Kerry and deliver the best Taste and Nutrition experience for customers. The Savoury Flavourist role requires to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability to change together with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop Savoury Flavour formulations in line with internal and external customer requirements. Northern Europe customer interaction as required to drive business growth including supporting pipeline activity. Partner with regional D&A Teams to embed Savoury Taste, with focus on Snack, Meat, PMSSD Utilise Kerry proprietary Building Blocks and Kerry technologies in flavour creation to meet regional Taste needs and expectations Develop regional portfolio in partnership with Technology Business Development and Portfolio Manager Product compliance to all regulatory requirements in partnership with Regulatory . Link with operations to ensure efficient manufacturing of developed savoury flavours. Implement and ensure best practice in accordance with Kerry Global Creative Practice Prepare and maintain accurate recordkeeping on all assigned projects and respect project deadlines. Qualifications and skills
Bachelor or Masters' Degree in Science, Chemistry or related fields Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Savoury Flavourist with proven track record of creating savoury top note flavours, compound flavours and seasonings German language preferable but not essential Work Environment: mix of offices, laboratories Ability to work in multicultural and virtual teams. Ability to present technical work to internal stakeholders and external customers. Project management skills Team player Flexible to travel.
