OVERVIEW: The Fleet Service Worker will handle basic shop duties. They will also perform detail cleaning and fueling of equipment with limited supervision. DUTIES: 1. Provides support to the Maintenance Department and Technicians (e.g. vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, vehicle seat repair, fluid checks, facility maintenance, etc.) in accordance with established schedules. 2. Perform such cleaning duties as sweeping, mopping of floors, and vacuuming of seats and upholstery using appropriate cleaning equipment. 3. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including the toilet, sink, walls, floor, towel dispensers and mirrors. 4. Clean windows, mirrors, interior glass, window casing and tracks, blinds, and ledges. 5. Wash walls, hand rails, finger prints and grease marks. 6. Clean and polish sinks, mirrors and any other chrome areas. 7. Empty trash from vehicles. 8. Resupply motor coaches with supplies such as toilet paper, pot shot, paper towels, and hand sanitizer. 9. Report damage, malfunctions and other irregularities of the vehicle to Utility Supervisor. 10. Turn in lost and found articles, putting them in the lost and found cabinet and recording on the sheet each item found. 11. Follow company policy and OSHA safety regulations. 12. Position and stage vehicles in the parking lot. 13. Properly clean and maintain equipment and work area at the end of each shift. 14. Keeps workers storage and work areas clean at all times. 15. Responsible and accountable for maintaining service and repair of cash revenue fare boxes for vehicles at the facility. 16. Responsible for moving or positioning a variety of equipment. 17. Will perform basic troubleshooting of farebox system. 18. Other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the facility. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. 1-2 years relevant experience. 3. Knowledge of shop safety standards. 4. Must have a strong commitment to safety. 5. Must be well-organized. 6. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing. 7. Must possess a CDL with passenger endorsement and airbrakes. 8. Must be self-motivated and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision. 9. Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts. 10. Ability to work on a team.
