Job Description
Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of various machines and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Properly insepcts, maintains, and changes cylinders on various gases located in cylinder room
- Repairs all types of valves, traps, seperators, strainers, and all other plumbing devices including fixtures
- Performs cutting and threading of pipes, sweating of copper tubing, and other types of plumbing connections (flared, compression, PVC, VLC )
- Performs general carpentry and construction duties as assigned. Make repairs to furniture, doors, cabinets, windows, screens etc
- Responsible for performing minor electrical work
- Maintain critical inventory needed to keep operations running: maintains and accounts for tools used
- Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and record the same
- maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and coworkers
- Operating a forklist
Shifts:
- 3rd (10:00pm-6:30pm)
- 2nd (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
- 1st (6:00am - 2:30pm)
**shifts are determined by seniority but will have flexibility as to preference. Must be comfortable with a rotating schedule as no shift is promised***

Skills and Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar maintenance repair position
- Previous experience working burden carriers, forklifts, and a mobile crane
- Certifications:
Journeyman License
- Strong customer service, accuracy, and attention to details skills
- Must be comfortable with rotating shifts starting at 2nd or 3rd shift and Overtime - Brake repairmen certification
- Vehicle repairment certification null
