FPT is a wholly-owned business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Fleet Manager on 1st Shift at the Kee Container location. The Fleet Manager is responsible for the management of fleet equipment and managing teams of technicians who are responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleetScheduling regular maintenance on all vehiclesOrdering urgent or emergency repairs as neededEstablishing efficient routes and transportation schedulesCoordinating Drivers and Mechanics when setting employee schedulesManaging vehicle licensure and registrationEnsuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date trainingMonitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practicesSearching for, hiring, and training new DriversProviding reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progressDeveloping methods to decrease cost and improve efficiencyMinimum Qualifications:
