**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing forklifts, heavy-duty equipment, light trucks, and performing diagnostics and preventative maintenance using various computer systems and tools. This position requires a Class A or B CDL for driving trucks and road testing. **Responsibilities** + Repair forklifts, including propane fuel, electrical, battery systems, hydraulic systems, and pallet jacks. + Utilize computers, including iPads, desktop computers, hand-held computers, and laptops for diagnostics and preventative maintenance. + Work with manufacturing standards, including Mitchell 1 and OEM Support tools, and stay updated with the latest technology and standards. + Drive trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL for road testing and moving trucks in and out of the repair shop. + Repair heavy-duty equipment, including class 8, 7, 6, and medium-duty trucks, brakes, tires, engines, liftgates, and thermo king heater and refer units. + Repair light trucks, including EV trucks, gas-diesel trucks, vans, and support vehicles. **Essential Skills** + Fleet maintenance + Trailer repair + Brake systems + Hydraulics + Preventive maintenance + Mechanical repair + Diesel engine repair + Inspection + Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting + DOT inspection + Air brake systems + Diagnosis and engine repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Air Brakes certification and training required + 609 certified for A/C + Experience with truck, trailer, and diesel maintenance **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits including dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, paid training, a retirement plan, vision insurance, and a stock program. The work environment includes the use of advanced diagnostic tools and adherence to safety and manufacturing standards. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.70 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
