The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC), Operations Division seeks a Fleet Coordinator. The selected candidate will provide support in transporting agency vehicles to repair shops in a timely manner to ensure that DDC project managers/resident engineers can drive to project construction sites in various locations, to agency site offices and other sites overseeing the agency’s bi-annual inspection of DDC Fleet vehicles; charge and troubleshoot the ChargePoint EV systems as well as portable chargers and solar carports.
The selected candidate will provide executive support for spreadsheet development of fleet analysis, fleet programs, attend meetings, follow up on action items to ensure completion, disseminate necessary information, and communicate ideas.
The Fleet Coordinator will assist in overseeing Fleets vehicle salvage process, Geotab installations, maintenance and monitor alerts, vehicle inspections and repairs, pool vehicle operations. In addition, the candidate will keep track of vehicle mileage logs and follow up with agency drivers regarding the submission of their vehicle logs for congestion pricing locations.
Assist with Permit season, by removing and affixing the appropriate permits to the windshield of all agency vehicles. All these tasks are necessary to maintain a fleet of vehicles to support DDC staff at field and site locations.
The Fleet Coordinator will liaise with DCAS Fleet and support the Fleet Supervisor and Senior Deputy Director in meeting expectations and agreed upon deliverables and work with internal teams to create and conduct ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience described in "1" above; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience as described in "1" above;
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above. However, all candidates must possess the one year of administrative or supervisory experience as described in "1" above. Education above the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative experience (but not for the one year of administrative or supervisory experience described in "1" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½ years.
