Fleet Program Manager, Procurement
**Overview** The Program Manager – Fleet Programs plays a critical role in overseeing strategic initiatives within our fleet operations, including telematics, AI camera implementation, vehicle order management, and electric vehicle (EV) adoption. This position ensures the seamless integration of new technologies while driving operational efficiency and sustainability efforts. The Program Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage suppliers, optimize program execution, and align fleet initiatives with business objectives 1. Program Management: + Lead multiple fleet-related programs, including telematics, AI cameras, and EV adoption, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Develop program roadmaps, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with business goals. 2. Telematics and AI Camera Implementation: + Manage the rollout and optimization of telematics systems and AI cameras to improve fleet safety and efficiency. + Collaborate with suppliers to ensure effective data integration and ongoing support. 3. Electric Vehicle (EV) Transition: + Oversee the transition to electric vehicles, including vehicle procurement, infrastructure setup, and driver education programs. + Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local and state EV mandates. 4. Supplier and Vendor Management: + Manage relationships with OEMs, Upfitters, telematics, camera, and EV vendors to ensure performance and contract compliance. + Evaluate and select vendors to support evolving fleet initiatives and ensure optimal service delivery. 5. Operational Efficiency and Cost Management: + Drive operational efficiency across fleet programs, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and company-wide cost-saving initiatives. + Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with procurement and finance teams, ensuring cost control and compliance with allocated spending. + Monitor and report on the **Return on Investment (ROI)** of each fleet initiative, including telematics, AI cameras, and EV adoption, to assess performance and optimize resource allocation. + Identify opportunities for cost reduction through improved vendor management, strategic sourcing, and program efficiency enhancements + Utilize data analytics to forecast long-term cost savings, ensuring that program investments align with the company’s financial goals and procurement objectives. + Collaborate with procurement colleagues to evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO) for new technologies and services, ensuring value for money and sustainability of fleet operations. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Work closely with IT, procurement, safety, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth program execution and data alignment. + Facilitate communication with business leaders to drive awareness and buy-in for fleet initiatives. 7. Compliance and Risk Management: + Ensure all fleet programs meet regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements. + Develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in program execution. + Develop models to predict maintenance issues before they occur, reducing unexpected downtime and extending vehicle life. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Fleet Management, or related field (Master's preferred). + 5+ years of experience managing large-scale fleet programs or projects, including telematics or EVs. + Proven experience with vendor management and contract negotiations. **Pay:** $90,000-$120,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position, an estimate and not guaranteed.
